No add-on games.
Fuel, the float pad, and a cooler full of ice are already on board. Bring your people and your food — that is the whole list.

A tritoon, not a rental barge.

Where you leave from
Santa Rosa Beach, out to Crab Island.
About forty-five minutes of scenic cruising gets you there — through the bayous, past Sandestin Marina, usually with dolphins somewhere off the bow. Stop at the marina for a bite mid-trip if the group wants it.

Before you call
Questions we get every week.
How many people can come aboard?
Up to 13 guests, plus your captain. If your group is 14 or more, we can arrange a second boat — just tell us the headcount when you call.
Are fuel, the cooler and the float pad included?
Yes. Every charter includes fuel, a large cooler packed with ice, and an 18-foot floating lily pad at no extra charge.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely. Bring whatever you like — the cooler and ice are already on board.
Is a captain included?
Every trip is captained. You choose your captain from an approved list of local 5-star captains when you book, and the captain fee is paid directly to them, separately from the boat.
Where do we leave from?
Most charters depart from Cessna Landing in Santa Rosa Beach or Pilcher Park at the 331 Bridge. Pickup from a private dock can be arranged on request. Your exact departure point can shift with trip type and weather.
How long does it take to reach Crab Island?
Roughly 45 minutes to an hour of scenic cruising from the standard departure points — through the bayous, past Sandestin Marina, with dolphin and wildlife sightings along the way.
What happens if the weather turns?
Safety is the captain’s call. If conditions are unsafe, we work with you to reschedule. Boats do run rain or shine — brief pop-up showers are normal on the Emerald Coast.
Do you host bachelorette parties?
Constantly — it is one of the most popular reasons groups book. Seating for 13, a lily pad, a stocked cooler and a Bluetooth stereo make it an easy day to plan.
Are weekday trips cheaper?
Yes. Sunday through Wednesday runs at a reduced rate for the same boats, same captains and same trip lengths. Ask when you call.
Which areas do you serve?
Both launches sit on Choctawhatchee Bay in Santa Rosa Beach, so the whole 30A corridor is close: Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, Dune Allen, Gulf Place, WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove, WaterSound, Alys Beach, Seacrest, Rosemary Beach and Inlet Beach. We also take plenty of groups staying in Destin, Crystal Beach, Miramar Beach and Sandestin, and further out from Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, Niceville, Freeport and Panama City Beach.
Can we do a pontoon rental if we are staying in Destin?
Yes, and it is one of our most common bookings. You drive to Cessna Landing or Pilcher Park in Santa Rosa Beach — roughly twenty to thirty minutes from most Destin and Miramar Beach rentals — and the captain takes it from there. Because we run out of the bay rather than Destin Harbor, you skip the harbour traffic on the way to Crab Island.
Where exactly is Crab Island?
It is a submerged sandbar in Choctawhatchee Bay just north of the Destin bridge, where the water sits waist-deep over white sand. It is not an island you can walk on — you anchor, get in the water, and float. It is the single most popular thing to do on the water on the Emerald Coast.
Is this a pontoon rental or a charter?
A charter. The boat comes with a licensed captain, so nobody in your group has to drive, dock or navigate the bay — and no boating licence or Florida boater safety card is needed. If you have searched for a pontoon boat rental in Destin or on 30A, this is the same day on the water with the driving handled.
